Cheesy Cape Grim Sausage Roll
Serves: 4
Ingredients
4 long bread rolls
8 cos lettuce leaves
1 cup grated tasty cheese
4 Cape Grim Beef sausages, cooked, cooled
2 tablespoons tomato sauce
Method
- Cut bread rolls through centre lengthways (do not cut all the way through). Gently open rolls. Place 2 lettuce leaves on each roll base.
- Sprinkle cheese over lettuce and top with sausage. Drizzle tomato sauce over sausage. Press roll together to close. Serve.
Tips
Packing tip: Wrap rolls securely in greaseproof paper. Place in lunch box with ice brick.
