Terms and Conditions – Cape Grim beef – Western Bulldogs Competition, April 2014

 

This document sets out the terms of participation in Cape Grim Beef’s "Western Bulldogs / President Lunch Competition”

 

1. The promoter of this Competition is the Greenham Tasmania P/L (the "Promoter") (ABN 61 099 121 301), 222 Lorimer St, Port Melbourne 3207, Vic

 

2. Entry to the Competition is open to all residents of Australia within 7-12 years of age+. An entrant must be an individual and not a company or organisation. Entrants under 18 years of age need to have the consent of their parent or guardian to enter. Employees of the Promoter and any person associated with the Competition, and any organisation or individual associated with the provision of the prize(s), are not eligible to enter.

 

3. Each entry must be entered in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. By entering the Competition, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter may in its discretion refuse to award any prize to any entrant who fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions. All relevant instructions on the Promoter's website (if any) form part of these Terms and Conditions.

 

4. Entry into the Competition is free.

 

5. The Competition opens at 12:00pm AEST on 10th April 2014  and closes at 11:59pm AEST on 14th April 2014  ("Competition Period"). Any entry received after the expiry of the Competition Period will be deemed invalid. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost, delayed or misdirected entries.

 

 6. To enter the competition you need to: write in 25 words or less about “Why you love the Western Bulldogs”. This needs to be emailed to: info@capegrimbeef.com.au within the Competition Period. Please add a phone number and name. 

 

7. You may not enter the Competition more than once.   

                 

8. The Prize Winner will receive:

a) 3 x tickets to the AFL match at Etihad Stadium on Sunday April 20th, 2014  (Twilight Game) in Melbourne ("Tickets")

b) Opportunity for a child (7yrs-12yrs only) to run through banner with the Western Bulldogs AFL Team (Western Bulldogs uniform to be supplied) at the beginning of the match against the Carlton Football club and then toss the coin before the match. 

c) Parents / Guardian /s of child and child to attend the Presidents lunch in the Limelight Room from 12noon. Please note there are dress restrictions for the President’s lunch including collared shirt, no denim for gentlemen and smart casual for ladies. 

d) Reserved seats to view the match. 

 

9. The Promoter shall not be responsible for any costs to the Prize Winner as part of attending the game. The Prize winner is responsible for all costs associated with using the prize including all transfer costs to and from each airport used in connection with using the prize (if applicable), travel costs in and around Melbourne, costs with respect to food and beverages, travel and medical insurance costs, and spending money.

 

10. The Prize Winner must be available to redeem the prize on the dates stipulated by the Promoter. If the Prize Winner is not able to redeem the prize on that date, the Promoter may determine another prize winner in its discretion.

 

11. No component of the prize can be transferred or redeemed for cash. In the event that any of the prizes become unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to provide a similar product to the same or greater value as the original prize, subject to any applicable laws or written directions made under applicable legislation.

 

12. You warrant that:

 

(i) all details provided with your entry are true and accurate;

(ii) you have all necessary rights and licences to grant the rights set out in these Terms and Conditions;

(iii) the exercise of the rights granted to the Promoter in these Terms and Conditions will not infringe the rights of any third parties; and

(iv) you indemnify the Promoter against any loss or damage resulting from any breach of these warranties.

 

13. You acknowledge that the Promoter is under no obligation to exercise any of the rights granted to it by these Terms and Conditions.

 

14. You agree that the Promoter may use your entry and any personal details provided to the Promoter for any promotional, marketing and publicity purposes of the Promoter but not including third parties. 

 

15. Decisions of the Promoter and its panel of judges are final and will be binding on each person who enters the Competition and no correspondence will be entered into. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry received during the Promotion Period will be judged based on the creativity of the response. The winners will be the most creative entries received by the Promoter, with one winner chosen which satisfies the eligibility requirements as set out in these Terms and Conditions.

 

16. The name of the prize winner will be announced on www.facebook.com/CapeGrim on 15th April, 2014 at 12 noon, and the winner emailed directly. Please allow at least a day from the date of notification for the delivery and specific details of the prize to be sent on email. 

 

17. If there is any event that prevents or hinders the Promoter's conduct of the Competition or the Promoter's ability to deliver the prize/s to the prize winner/s of the Competition, the Promoter may, in its discretion, cancel the Competition and recommence it at another time under the same conditions or select another winner.

 

18. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this Competition, or for any technical error that may occur in the course of the administration of this Competition. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.

 

19. To the full extent permitted by the law, the Promoter will not be liable for any injury, damages, expenses, or loss whatsoever (whether direct or inconsequential) to persons or property as a result of any person entering into the Competition or accepting or using any prize, including without limitation non-receipt of any prize or damage to any prize in transit and the Prize Winner's failure to comply with the terms and conditions.
